Unlike the other crazy email I got in response to an old post was one I received on one of my most popular posts of all time: I have earworms. It was much more sane and positive.
I was contacted by Denise McCann Bachman from Randy's Vinyl Tap, a show on CBC Radio. Yes! That Randy Bachman from Bachman-Turner Overdrive. I happen to like BTO quite a bit, and while I occasionally get "Takin' Care of Business" running through my head, it doesn't stick too long and I don't find it annoying.
Anyway, they are working on an earworm-themed episode for the fall season, and wanted to know if they could quote the piece and a little about me. I told them sure thing, and other than being plagued by earworms, I am normal in most other ways and have no other outstanding mental health issues.
I don't have an air date yet, but will check the schedule in the fall. I'm a little afraid to listen to this episode. On the one hand, I'd like to hear my post mentioned. On the other, I'm reluctant to get my head pumped full of what may be the worst earworms of all time. I guess I'll play it by ear.

Randy's Vinyl Tap is a great show, he shows so much respect for the artists he plays, and it's like you're just hanging out in his basement chatting!

Have fun with the broadcast, and I hope you don't get earworms from it.
