I'm not much for resolutions, but recognize that my life and career are becoming much too complicated and consuming. For 2006 (and beyond), I need to simplify. Something which appeared on the New York Times op-ed page on New Year's Day appealed to this distillation desire in me. It was a compilation of suggestions from the Suggestion Box project of an artists' collective called Illegal Art, which focuses on interactive art. Wow. A whole lot there that could be applicable to myself. "Read The Instructions" for one, not being a fan of the dry-read manual, or "You Shut Up And Do Something About It" is a very good one.
